And so the story is told……the ital­ian tra­di­tion of pizza dates back over 200 years when pizza was baked in wood burn­ing fire places. The first Ital­ian pizza dat­ing back to 1830, was cre­ated as a round of dough topped with toma­toes baked in a wood burn­ing oven, bet­ter known by Ital­ians as forno a legna.”
